Korey Summers, An Unlikely Standoff (NATURE WILDERNESS 2026)

An unexpected encounter between a Nankeen Kestrel and a much larger Sulphur-crested Cockatoo in the Ginninderry Conservation Corridor, Canberra. As the cockatoo spread its wings, the kestrel raised its foot towards its beak, creating a brief standoff between two very different Australian birds.
