Brody Gamble, Bifrost - Gateway to the Gods (PLACES WILDERNESS 2025)

Skógafoss stands at over 60 metres tall and 25 metres wide, unleashing tens of thousands of litres of glacier water per second. Experiencing this epic location at night, with no crowds, and the aurora dancing overhead was a dream. In Norse mythology, the Bifrost is the rainbow bridge that connects the mortal world (Midgard) to that of the Gods (Asgard). Here, it felt like I was between the two. That if I could see just a little farther, then I might find the Gods themselves.
