Steve Killeen, Cotton Candy Calm (PLACES WILDERNESS 2026)

Taken at Coles Bay, Tasmania, in August 2024, looking toward The Hazards and Mount Amos. The conditions were calm, with soft light and low cloud sitting around the mountains. I was drawn to the way the muted light softened the scene and reflected across the water, giving the landscape a much quieter feel than the more dramatic conditions I usually chase.
