Graham Gall, Daintree Predator (NATURE WILDERNESS 2025)

The Black Butcherbird is difficult to capture well as it spends most if its day immersed in dense foliage where it preys upon insects, lizards and snakes, other small birds and small mammals. I was chuffed to get a good sharp image through the rainforest foliage in the Daintree off the Marrdja boardwalk.
