Scott Leggo, HANGING ON (PLACES WILDERNESS 2025)
I headed out to the Bimberi wilderness for a few days, determined to capture some of the area's surviving snow gums. It was hard to go past this example on the summit of Mount Gingera, but as its form suggests, the winds were blowing this little tree for much of the time. On my final evening, the wind slowed enough for me to capture this image with the impressive colours of sunset a great compliment to the bark of this tree.
