John Phillips, Pastel Skies & Puffins (PLACES WILDERNESS 2026)
The pastel hues, lingering endlessly, marked the end of another long Icelandic day in May at Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. With patience, I waited for the crowds of tourists to disperse, finally capturing the tranquillity and solitude of this rugged coastline. Yet, I wasn’t alone - an audience of puffins perched atop the basalt columns watched on as the scene unfolded.
