Akane Hatai, Satanic Eyes (NATURE WILDERNESS 2025)

The satanic leaf-tailed gecko (Uroplatus phantasticus), endemic to Madagascar, stared back at me with eyes that seemed to pierce the rainforest, glowing, hypnotic, and impossible to forget.
