Cameron Wheatley, Snowgums in the mist (NATURE WILDERNESS 2026)

I captured this image on film while completing the Australian Alps Walking track solo. On this day I had been walking through through 4 straight days of heavy rain, wind, snow and lightning. Yet, the presence of these twisted behemoths glistening in the mist brought an immediate sense of calm and reassurance.
