Warren Thomas, Spontaneous Patagonia (PEOPLE WILDERNESS 2026)

This image was formulated over the course of about 30 minutes. Walking in the middle of our group we had crested a ridge on the 'W' Track in Patagonia. The iconic Cerro Paine Grande came into view. My mind was ticking over. Thirty minutes later as we walked upwards towards the next ridge I asked Narrell to pause on the crest, turn and smile. One click and there you have it.
