Jodine Waghorn, The Coastal Hunter (NATURE WILDERNESS 2025)

This shag and I shared a moment of mutual curiosity on the rugged coastline. I approached so close that my reflection became visible in its pale eye. For several minutes, we simply observed each other - predator and photographer in perfect stillness. A rare, intimate encounter between two hunters on the wild coast.
