Sandra Berndt, Tyndall Range in autumn glow (PEOPLE WILDERNESS 2025)

Bathed in a golden autumn glow, a secluded tarn in Tasmania’s Tyndall Range reflects the fiery brilliance of the season. It is surrounded by the rare deciduous Fagus (Nothofagus gunnii), the island’s only native beech, which glows in a stunning display of golden hues.
